ABOUT
I am a Cuban-American artist currently attending the Rhode Island School of Design for a BFA in Apparel Design and Theatrical Design courses at Brown University. I grew up in Southern California and draw from the warmth of the coast in conjunction with the rhythm of culture. I specialize in sculptural fashion and textile work utilizing bold saturated colors. I paint with fabric, envisioning the body as a canvas to capture the vibrancy of Cuban culture.
I manage marketing/creative direction for various dance groups at Brown University; organizing promo shoots, social media content, creating choreography, lighting design, and developing the conceptual narrative for annual shows. My experience in a sculptural design background in conjunction with creative direction skills, provides me with an all-encompassing approach to design.
